March is Women’s History Month

Welcome to this week’s Tree Talk Tuesday. March is traditionally known as Women’s History Month.  It began  in 1982 when the week of March 7th was declared as National Women’s History Week. It continued as such until 1987 when the National Women’s History Project petitioned for the entire month of March to be known as Women’s History Month and has continued so to this day. With keeping that in mind the following are some resources to help trace the Women in the family tree.
